Last January, my co-workers invited me to go to the Red Sand. This is my first time to explore KSA and I didn't know that this country is beautiful in its own unique way. I was really amazed with all the stuff that I've seen while we were on our way to the Red Sand. So before I share you my experience in the Red Sand, I'd like to share some photos/sceneries while we we're on our way to our destination.

When we were out of the main city, these rock formations greeted us. |

A steep road. Kinda' scary. LOL |

This looks creepy. I got goosebumps when I first saw this. |
If you could have only seen my facial expression while looking at these wonderful sceneries. All I could say was "Wow!" It was my very first time to see these things so I was really speechless while some of my companions tell some stories about the places we passed by and of course, the Red Sand while me, my eyes are all on the dessert and mountains.

These are wonderful and very special in themselves. It's a great thing you could go on adventures like this.
ReplyDeleteThanks ;). I'm lucky I have friends who brought me to these wonderful places.
DeleteI agree that one photo looks creepy. It looks like something might emerge from the dust or fog or whatever it is.. You took good photos though.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I have a weird feeling on that photo. Thanks, I'm not that really good in photography. I only use cheap camera or my cellphone. Some of the pics here are taken by my friend.
Delete"wow" was the first word that came to my mind too! It's a really nice place. The photo that looks creepy looks like the scenes we get from The Mummy or The Mummy Returns, or something. haha.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I also thought the same way that that poto was from a scene in a movie. LOL
DeleteLovely! I bet its so fun to explore that place and I would definitely do same thing as you are " WOW" thank you for sharing this awesome Red Sand escapade. Love it

DeleteNice rock formations. The only rock formations that I've visited so far was in Ilocos, "Kapurpurawan Rock Formation".
ReplyDeleteThanks Michi ;) I was also able to visit Kapurpurawan and it was really great to see.
DeleteI saw one rock formation from a blogger who climbed it in Bulacan here in the Philippines. The view was really breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could also visit that rock formation ;)
DeleteThe scenery is awesome! And I'd like to be adventurous too like you and your friends to witness God's amazing creations not available in our country. Great photos, Sis!
ReplyDeleteThanks sis ;)
DeleteThose are great rock formations! I would love to see them in person, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Maria ;)
DeleteReally interesting mountain formation. The last time I saw something like that was in the Ayers rock region in Central Australia.
ReplyDeletewow, thanks for this post para na rin akong nakarating sa KSA! i am amazed!
ReplyDeletei never thought even the scenery is not colorful, it will be also beautiful like this. thanks for sharing.,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing those beautiful pictures! I wish that someday, I will be able to visit a place like this too.
ReplyDeleteSame here sis. Just by looking at all your photos, it's already Wow! How much more when I see these in person.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! Well, that 3rd to the last image reminds me of a zombie apocalypse. You know, that fence trying to hold the walkers :)
ReplyDeleteThis part of KSA - the desert - seems like so far away from the city, but travel time is so fast. Bilib talaga ako sa mga highways nila doon.
ReplyDeleteSarap talaga mag-travel :-)
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a sight to see! I love seeing pictures of far away places. It makes me feel like I traveled there myself.
